Dadeldhura campus is one of the constituent campus situated in the hilly area of far-western province of Nepal.
We have started one year B.Ed in 2052, Three year B.Ed in 2057, M.Ed in 2064, ICT B.Ed in 2066 ,M.A , B.A & BBS in 2072 B.S.
We have launched M.Ed through ODL mode in 2013.
We have demanded the dean’s office to launch Social Studies in one year B.Ed through ODL considering the demand of the students , we are planning to launch M.Ed in English Education if dean’s office provides approval.
We have advertised through FM radio , Local newspapers, social media, met district education units officials, contacted the potential students through cell phones to enroll the students in first semester (M.Ed).
We conducted the guidance and counseling to the students mostly individually . It was carried out though cell phone and face to face mode.
We have planned to conduct contact sessions to set assignment and discuss on the problems of the students.
We have repaired the computers and bought new ones (all together 25 computers)that might be used for both ICT and ODL students.
As we have started ICT B.Ed , the teacher working for the stream is also assisting subject teachers and students of ODL.
Most of the students lack internet access so we have to contact them through cell phone.
We have been able to change the attitude of the students towards ODL programme but the mindset of we teacher is still a challenge.
We sent the Teaching Practice Programme schedule to Dean office(Sixth Semester’s) .
We contacted the dean office to design and disseminate new courses and SLM
Timely authentic information on result with mark sheets (mark-ledger) is still a problem.
The dean office is requested to design and implement operation calendar .
We have internet access but the capacity is not so high.
We have been able to increase the number of the students this year in comparison with the previous years .
It would be better if Dean’s office designs and shares the learning material considering the problems of the campuses of the remote area.
We have some problems concerning the students’ ICT skills.
As the courses of regular mode and ODL mode is same , the learning materials can be got in printed form in the markets.
